Hello Kitty Luggage - Cuteness for Travelers

Hello Kitty luggage can bring a smile to the lips of anyone who sees it, especially tired, stressed children. Travel bags from Sanrio feature fairly standard construction for baggage pieces in the low to middle price range, but feature graphics of the pleasant cartoon cat playing or romping across a brightly colored background.

Hello Kitty's well-known central character, Kitty White, was first drawn in the mid-1970s, when the owner of Sanrio (the company that holds the trademark to the fictional feline), made an interesting discovery. He noticed that items decorated with cute images sold much better than plain items that were otherwise absolutely identical. Yuko Shimizu designed the cat without a mouth so that the viewer could project their own current emotions onto the character - a successful strategy, considering that Hello Kitty is still extremely popular almost forty years later, to the tune of a billion dollars in annual sales.

Both Sanrio and several other companies make Hello Kitty luggage, the latter operating under license from Sanrio. These bags are just the right size to carry your clothing and other necessities, but are not bulky enough to be inconvenient when you are seeking to travel light and want to get to your destination without the exhausting experience of hauling large bags along.

Three of the most common categories of Hello Kitty luggage include:

Sanrio Hello Kitty Luggage For Carry-On: Carry-on bags direct from the factories of Sanrio are made to meet the dimensional requirement of cabin luggage, and fit into the baggage compartments of all but a few small, outdated aircraft such as the Fokker 50. The nylon fabric of which their main shell is constructed is tough and tear-resistant, while the extensible handle and some of the fasteners are made out of metal. Stiffening panels and the wheels included on this type of Hello Kitty luggage are fashioned from plastic.

Double zippered closures offer secure storage for your possessions both on road trips and commercial passenger jet flights, with separate zippers for a handful of interior and exterior pockets where toiletries and similar small objects can be placed. Kitty White is used as the motif on these brightly colored carry-ons, rendered either as a small print or as a large single figure.

Rolling Hello Kitty Luggage, Loungefly Style: Rolling luggage with a Hello Kitty design is produced under the Loungefly imprint. Imitation leather editions of these rolling bags are stamped with embossed images of the cat's face, placed between geometric X's or similar designs to create a detailed overall pattern. Those made of cloth show Kitty White as a large figure, allowing brighter colors and more expressiveness of gesture than the small Kitties on the leather bags.

An extra layer of protection to your belongings is provided by a separate nylon lining that also features Hello Kitty imagery. Zip pockets offer the possibility of keeping small items neatly organized, while extra carrying handles make it easier to maneuver this Hello Kitty luggage onto baggage check conveyor belts or retrieving it from a baggage carousel.

Hello Kitty Luggage Totes: Made in the form of Kitty White's head with an attached shoulder strap for purse or tote style carrying, this type of Hello Kitty luggage is designed for short trips where wheeled luggage or other heavy duty containers would be "overkill". Though the faux leather from which it is made is lightweight and feels synthetic if you run your hand over it, the closure is surprisingly strong, with the double defense of a zipper and a buckle to keep the bag shut even when subjected to rough handling.

The variety of Hello Kitty luggage gives every traveler a great choice, whether you want carry-on bags or luggage tough enough for the hold. You can be sure that every piece will have a picture of Kitty White to spread cheer and good will wherever you go.

View Talay 2 Rentals - Why They Are So Popular

Renting a condo in View Talay 2.

In Jomtien and Pattaya Thailand at the moment there are many new and newly completed condominium projects to choose from, whether your buying or renting. The choice is amazing.

With all these new projects to choose from why then is View Talay 2 still such a popular rental destination? After all it's now 10 years old and it hasn't got the now mandatory themed swimming pool that weaves its way around the condo such as Park Lane and other new projects boast of.

What's the attraction? The new projects all now have these wrap around swimming pools and state of the art gyms that are all free to use. The rooms in many cases are no more than two years old and fitted out with all new furniture and fittings.

All the above is true but what the fancy brochures won't tell you or will but in a very round about way is the following coded terminology.

? The condo is located close to the beach. Which means it's at least a kilometre away. There are many examples of this.

? We provide a shuttle bus to the main baht bus route. This means, it's at least 1 kilometre from the beach and the baht bus route. This is fine until you stay out late at night. You'll find then you have a long walk back to your holiday rental. That's if you can walk that far.

? The room is modern and well laid out. Which means the room is modern and most probably less than 24 sqm in size with a small double bed.

? Near by are shops and bars. Which means there is a 7/11 or Family mart on the corner of the road which sells milk and bread.

? Lastly. From your condo your only 10 minutes from Pattaya. Which can mean it's going to take you 20 minutes to get to the main baht bus route and then another 20 minutes into Pattaya.

All the above are all examples that the author of this article has experienced first hand or has read in the sales brochures.

Please understand that in no way is this article implying that these projects are not nice places to stay or sub-standard, far from it but the article is passing on valuable information that the holiday maker needs to know if they plan to stay close to the beach and on the main baht bus routes into Pattaya without being disappointed when they arrive at their holiday rental.

Above are some of the considerations to look out for when renting in Jomtien. So how does View Talay 2 compare to these new projects?

As stated before, View Talay 2 is now 10 years old but it has developed a strong reputation for being well looked after and maintained. The location is within walking distance of Jomtien beach and 7 minutes from Walking Street by baht bus.

The list below sets out some simple questions and answers why renting in View Talay 2 is such a popular choice.

Location? North JomtienBaht bus route? View Talay 2 is on the main Baht bus route into PattayaDistance to the beach? No more than 10 minutes at a very gentle paceHow long does it take to get into Pattaya? 10 minutes with heavy traffic and 5 minutes without any traffic. Are there shops nearby? Yes plenty of shops such as Tops super market and the Food mart. How far are the Bars and restaurants? Just outside View Talay 2 are many bars and restaurants to choose from. A little more information.

Exploring Trani in Puglia

Anyone who looks up information about Puglia - accommodation, transportation options, sights to see, itineraries and more - will most likely find Trani on top of the list of places to see. And for good reason: it's beautiful!

First Stop, Trani

If you're looking to holiday in Puglia, accommodation is as varied as the kinds of landscapes waiting for you there! You have your choice of farmhouses amidst acres of olive groves, trulli (beehive shaped limestone dwellings), lush villas with pools and beachside cottages. Even better, having picked one of these, you won't even miss out on the other landscapes - many wonderful attractions are just a train ride or a day trip away.

If it's the sea that calls out to you, however, there's one place you may want to consider as your base: Trani. This picturesque harbour town has a magical quality that puts it on top of almost every list of must-see places in Puglia. Accommodation in a villa here will give you the freedom to explore at your leisure.

What To See By The Sea

The historic character and beautiful views in this lovingly restored seaport town make it one of the perfect choices for your Puglia accommodation. From here, one can visit the cathedral cities and towns such as Molfetta, Bitonto, Ruvo di Puglia and Castel del Monte, or take a drive to stunning Lecce. In town, however, there are many sights to see and places to visit as well.

One can bask in the refreshing sea air in the harbour area with its fishing boats (and fish market offering the freshest catch for great seafood lunches and dinners) as well as yachts, quaint bars and cafes, and a beautiful public garden to while away the laid-back sunny days.

The Trani Cathedral. Literally perched at the edge of the sea is one of the must-see attractions and the main monument of Trani: the cathedral, dedicated to St. Nicholas the Pilgrim, a Greek who died in Trani in 1094 while on a pilgrimage to Rome. Considered one of the finest examples of Romanesque architecture in the region, this basilica with three apses from the local white limestone, is a sight to behold at any time of day - but particularly during sunset, or lit up at night. It is characterised by being a double church with a tower, and by its beautifully ornamented Arabesque walls and bronze doors. From the side wall you can access the crypt of the saint.

Castello di Trani. Constructed to mirror the shape of the Adriatic Sea, Trani Castle was erected by Frederick II of Swabia. The site of his son Manfred's wedding to Helen of Epirus is another must see attraction. Come in the summer and catch one of the famous re-enactments of the wedding and join in the festivities.

Food Tasting And More! You simply must sample as much of the local cuisine as possible: fresh meats, bread, and most of all the seafood - lavished with olive oil and washed down with amazing wines. The food choices alone are enough to make you glad you discovered Trani!
