Hello Kitty Luggage - Cuteness for Travelers

Hello Kitty luggage can bring a smile to the lips of anyone who sees it, especially tired, stressed children. Travel bags from Sanrio feature fairly standard construction for baggage pieces in the low to middle price range, but feature graphics of the pleasant cartoon cat playing or romping across a brightly colored background.

Hello Kitty's well-known central character, Kitty White, was first drawn in the mid-1970s, when the owner of Sanrio (the company that holds the trademark to the fictional feline), made an interesting discovery. He noticed that items decorated with cute images sold much better than plain items that were otherwise absolutely identical. Yuko Shimizu designed the cat without a mouth so that the viewer could project their own current emotions onto the character - a successful strategy, considering that Hello Kitty is still extremely popular almost forty years later, to the tune of a billion dollars in annual sales.

Both Sanrio and several other companies make Hello Kitty luggage, the latter operating under license from Sanrio. These bags are just the right size to carry your clothing and other necessities, but are not bulky enough to be inconvenient when you are seeking to travel light and want to get to your destination without the exhausting experience of hauling large bags along.

Three of the most common categories of Hello Kitty luggage include:

Sanrio Hello Kitty Luggage For Carry-On: Carry-on bags direct from the factories of Sanrio are made to meet the dimensional requirement of cabin luggage, and fit into the baggage compartments of all but a few small, outdated aircraft such as the Fokker 50. The nylon fabric of which their main shell is constructed is tough and tear-resistant, while the extensible handle and some of the fasteners are made out of metal. Stiffening panels and the wheels included on this type of Hello Kitty luggage are fashioned from plastic.

Double zippered closures offer secure storage for your possessions both on road trips and commercial passenger jet flights, with separate zippers for a handful of interior and exterior pockets where toiletries and similar small objects can be placed. Kitty White is used as the motif on these brightly colored carry-ons, rendered either as a small print or as a large single figure.

Rolling Hello Kitty Luggage, Loungefly Style: Rolling luggage with a Hello Kitty design is produced under the Loungefly imprint. Imitation leather editions of these rolling bags are stamped with embossed images of the cat's face, placed between geometric X's or similar designs to create a detailed overall pattern. Those made of cloth show Kitty White as a large figure, allowing brighter colors and more expressiveness of gesture than the small Kitties on the leather bags.

An extra layer of protection to your belongings is provided by a separate nylon lining that also features Hello Kitty imagery. Zip pockets offer the possibility of keeping small items neatly organized, while extra carrying handles make it easier to maneuver this Hello Kitty luggage onto baggage check conveyor belts or retrieving it from a baggage carousel.

Hello Kitty Luggage Totes: Made in the form of Kitty White's head with an attached shoulder strap for purse or tote style carrying, this type of Hello Kitty luggage is designed for short trips where wheeled luggage or other heavy duty containers would be "overkill". Though the faux leather from which it is made is lightweight and feels synthetic if you run your hand over it, the closure is surprisingly strong, with the double defense of a zipper and a buckle to keep the bag shut even when subjected to rough handling.

The variety of Hello Kitty luggage gives every traveler a great choice, whether you want carry-on bags or luggage tough enough for the hold. You can be sure that every piece will have a picture of Kitty White to spread cheer and good will wherever you go.

View Talay 2 Rentals - Why They Are So Popular

Renting a condo in View Talay 2.

In Jomtien and Pattaya Thailand at the moment there are many new and newly completed condominium projects to choose from, whether your buying or renting. The choice is amazing.

With all these new projects to choose from why then is View Talay 2 still such a popular rental destination? After all it's now 10 years old and it hasn't got the now mandatory themed swimming pool that weaves its way around the condo such as Park Lane and other new projects boast of.

What's the attraction? The new projects all now have these wrap around swimming pools and state of the art gyms that are all free to use. The rooms in many cases are no more than two years old and fitted out with all new furniture and fittings.

All the above is true but what the fancy brochures won't tell you or will but in a very round about way is the following coded terminology.

? The condo is located close to the beach. Which means it's at least a kilometre away. There are many examples of this.

? We provide a shuttle bus to the main baht bus route. This means, it's at least 1 kilometre from the beach and the baht bus route. This is fine until you stay out late at night. You'll find then you have a long walk back to your holiday rental. That's if you can walk that far.

? The room is modern and well laid out. Which means the room is modern and most probably less than 24 sqm in size with a small double bed.

? Near by are shops and bars. Which means there is a 7/11 or Family mart on the corner of the road which sells milk and bread.

? Lastly. From your condo your only 10 minutes from Pattaya. Which can mean it's going to take you 20 minutes to get to the main baht bus route and then another 20 minutes into Pattaya.

All the above are all examples that the author of this article has experienced first hand or has read in the sales brochures.

Please understand that in no way is this article implying that these projects are not nice places to stay or sub-standard, far from it but the article is passing on valuable information that the holiday maker needs to know if they plan to stay close to the beach and on the main baht bus routes into Pattaya without being disappointed when they arrive at their holiday rental.

Above are some of the considerations to look out for when renting in Jomtien. So how does View Talay 2 compare to these new projects?

As stated before, View Talay 2 is now 10 years old but it has developed a strong reputation for being well looked after and maintained. Location and safety are two of the main concerns for people when they come away on holiday, View Talay 2 has 24hour security cctv on all floor and outside also a key card entry system. The location is within walking distance of Jomtien beach and 7 minutes from Walking Street by baht bus.

The list below sets out some simple questions and answers why renting in View Talay 2 is such a popular choice.

Location? North JomtienBaht bus route? View Talay 2 is on the main Baht bus route into PattayaDistance to the beach? No more than 10 minutes at a very gentle paceHow long does it take to get into Pattaya? 10 minutes with heavy traffic and 5 minutes without any traffic. Are there shops nearby? Yes plenty of shops such as Tops super market and the Food mart. How far are the Bars and restaurants? Just outside View Talay 2 are many bars and restaurants to choose from. Here your located on what has become known as the golden mile. A stretch of road with some of the best restaurants to be found in Pattaya or Thailand may be even Asia.Room size? The smallest room in View Talay 2 is 37sqmSwimming pool? One of the biggest in Pattaya. But not a themed pool.

A little more information.

The rooms in View Talay 2 are all different depending on the owners taste in decoration. Most rooms have euro kitchens, air conditioning, cable TV and are fully furnished.

The rental cost of these studio rooms in low season is between 10 and 14,000 Baht per month and high season which is normally between November and March is 13 to 20,000 Baht. A point to remember is that the rental cost does not normally include water and electricity and there is often a cleaning and laundry fee at the end of the rental. Always ask before booking what these costs are.

Exploring Trani in Puglia

Anyone who looks up information about Puglia - accommodation, transportation options, sights to see, itineraries and more - will most likely find Trani on top of the list of places to see. And for good reason: it's beautiful!

First Stop, Trani

If you're looking to holiday in Puglia, accommodation is as varied as the kinds of landscapes waiting for you there! You have your choice of farmhouses amidst acres of olive groves, trulli (beehive shaped limestone dwellings), lush villas with pools and beachside cottages. Even better, having picked one of these, you won't even miss out on the other landscapes - many wonderful attractions are just a train ride or a day trip away.

If it's the sea that calls out to you, however, there's one place you may want to consider as your base: Trani. This picturesque harbour town has a magical quality that puts it on top of almost every list of must-see places in Puglia. Accommodation in a villa here will give you the freedom to explore at your leisure.

What To See By The Sea

The historic character and beautiful views in this lovingly restored seaport town make it one of the perfect choices for your Puglia accommodation. From here, one can visit the cathedral cities and towns such as Molfetta, Bitonto, Ruvo di Puglia and Castel del Monte, or take a drive to stunning Lecce. In town, however, there are many sights to see and places to visit as well.

One can bask in the refreshing sea air in the harbour area with its fishing boats (and fish market offering the freshest catch for great seafood lunches and dinners) as well as yachts, quaint bars and cafes, and a beautiful public garden to while away the laid-back sunny days.

The Trani Cathedral. Literally perched at the edge of the sea is one of the must-see attractions and the main monument of Trani: the cathedral, dedicated to St. Nicholas the Pilgrim, a Greek who died in Trani in 1094 while on a pilgrimage to Rome. Considered one of the finest examples of Romanesque architecture in the region, this basilica with three apses from the local white limestone, is a sight to behold at any time of day - but particularly during sunset, or lit up at night. It is characterised by being a double church with a tower, and by its beautifully ornamented Arabesque walls and bronze doors. From the side wall you can access the crypt of the saint.

Castello di Trani. Constructed to mirror the shape of the Adriatic Sea, Trani Castle was erected by Frederick II of Swabia. The site of his son Manfred's wedding to Helen of Epirus is another must see attraction. Come in the summer and catch one of the famous re-enactments of the wedding and join in the festivities.

Food Tasting And More! You simply must sample as much of the local cuisine as possible: fresh meats, bread, and most of all the seafood - lavished with olive oil and washed down with amazing wines. The food choices alone are enough to make you glad you discovered Trani!

Family-Friendly Holidays in Grenada

There is nowhere better to soak up the sun than in the Caribbean. And if you want to experience glorious climate, pristine beaches, breathtaking landscapes, rich culture, unique history and scrumptious cuisine, Grenada should definitely be part of your itinerary.

Although a relatively small island (you can be hiking through the rainforest in the morning and be on the beach by the afternoon), this island offers many amenities, including Grenada hotels that offer great facilities and service. However, what seems to set this island apart from its sister islands is the lack of commercialisation and tourism, making the island less crowded and more laid-back. Listed below are our reasons why this spice island is the perfect place for your family vacation.

A chocolate lover's dream

If you have always wanted to see wall-to-wall chocolate, a visit to the Grenada Chocolate Company is a must. Chocolate lovers will find this island to be sheer paradise, and will no doubt be eager to take some samples back to their Grenada hotels. Founded in 1999, the Chocolate Company produces incredible organic dark chocolate using the island's world-famous cocoa beans. Nestled in lush cocoa groves in the pristine rainforest, its award-winning chocolate has a unique and complex flavour. Produced only in small batches and using the freshest of ingredients, this chocolate is luxurious, rich, and would satisfy the most nitpicky of chocolate addicts. Be sure to visit the gift shop after the tour for a few (or a few dozen) bars to take home. Trust us, you will want to stock up. After all, the London Guardian called them 'probably the best chocolate in the world'.

Grand Etang National Park

Despite the luxury and comfort of Grenada hotels, there's probably nothing kids hate more than being cooped up indoors, especially when your have weather and nature as glorious as that of the Isle of Spice. Chase away their boredom by taking them to see the wonders and wildlife In Etang National Park. In this lush tropical rainforest, they can see the remnants of a once-active volcano that has formed a volcanic crater-lake, lush vegetation, as well as local fauna such as wild monkeys, hummingbirds, possum, armadillos, lizards, frogs, snakes, and colourful birds such as the hooded tanager, red-necked pigeon, and tropical mockingbird. Make sure to bring a camera to immortalize this amazing experience. While you're packing, be sure to also bring your swimsuit so you can take a dip at the Seven Sisters Falls. Families will find that swimming in its crystal waters is the perfect end to the day before heading back to their Grenada hotels.

A Brief History of Gatlinburg, Tennessee

Situated in scenic Sevier County, Gatlinburg, Tennessee is a tourist attraction that manages to maintain its small town beauty. The town is home to only a few thousand people but see hundreds of thousands of tourists each year. However, most don't realize just how rich the history of Gatlinburg really is.

In the early 1800s, a young woman named Martha Jane Huskey Ogle, her seven children and other close family members decided to make the trek to the Great Smokey Mountains from South Carolina at the request of her deceased husband. White Oak Flats, Tennessee was founded in 1807 once Ogle and her family built a small cabin in the area that had previously only housed Native Americans. The area was named White Oak Flats due to the large white oak trees that dotted the area. Soon, other families, including the McCarters, Reagans and Whaleys, joined Ogle's family to create a village, erecting the first building, a church, in 1835.

When the Civil War broke out among the North and the South, Gatlinburg attempted to remain neutral, but over time residents began to choose sides, dividing between the Union and the Confederate states. Although there was only one battle in Gatlinburg, it was raided several times for food and other supplies, leaving the town in despair for several years afterward.

During the 1880s, the invention of the band saw and the logging railroad created a boom in the lumber industry in Gatlinburg. Andrew Jackson Huff built a sawmill. As loggers came in to work in the sawmill, residents began renting out the spare rooms in their homes to loggers, creating another way to make a living. Logging became an important part of everyday life in the area. By the early 1930s, Great Smokey Mountains National Park, aptly named for its location among the scenic Great Smokey Mountains, created a tourist area and subsequently, an economic boom as vacationers from all areas came to visit. Displaced homeowners moved to town to work in the restaurants and hotels that popped up to accommodate the tourists. With the exception of World War II, tourism has remained a booming business in Gatlinburg since the 1930s. While the national park did make residents wealthy, it also led to urban sprawl and air quality problems, problems that pushed the infrastructure of the city to its limit on peak vacation days. The city had to re-adapt nearly every year just to handle the growing number of tourists.

Education was always an important aspect of Gatlinburg. Subscription schools became available in the early 1800s. These schools allowed students if parents paid a fee for them to attend. Education became more accessible in 1912 when the Pi Beta Phi Fraternity opened the first public school in the area. The school taught both practical and academic classes as well as classes that aided in the rebirth of Appalachian arts and crafts.

Gatlinburg changed little over nearly 100 years, thriving as a tourist city. However, part of that tourism came to a halt in 1992. On July 14 of that year, an entire city block burned to the ground due to faulty wiring. An arcade, a souvenir shop and a haunted house, as well as the Ripley's Believe It or Not! Museum burned to the ground. The city spent three years rebuilding the block, re-opening it in 1995. The fire prompted city officials to write new fire codes for downtown Gatlinburg and build a new firehouse in the area.

Although Gatlinburg, also known as the "Gateway to the Smokey Mountains", has been around since the early 1800s, it was not officially incorporated until 1945. Today Gatlinburg is still a major tourist attraction in the South, offering vacationers museums, southern food and music and the popular Dollywood, an amusement park owned by country singer Dolly Parton. History buffs can also visit the original cabin of Martha Jane Huskey Ogle and will enjoy the historic feel of many of the buildings in Gatlinburg, a city that still tries to keep its quaint village charm.

This information has been provided by the Old Creek Lodge in Gatlinburg.

Experiencing Cornwall on a Primary School Trip

A primary school trip to the south-western county of Cornwall will take young students to see some of the most beautiful countryside and seashores that the United Kingdom has to offer. The county is bordered by the English Channel, the Celtic Sea, and by the equally stunning county of Devon to the East.

Cornwall has a history of settlement that dates back to the Palaeolithic and Mesolithic periods and has been occupied ever since, though there is little evidence that Roman rule extended further west than Exeter. As students travel through the county on a primary school trip to soak in the culture, history and art of the county, they may notice that many of the place names have an origin in Christianity; this stems back to the Christian missionaries and saints that came to the area from nearby Wales and Ireland. While in Cornwall, the itinerary should include a visit to the Tate St. Ives and the National Maritime Museum before going outdoors to explore the Eden Project and its impact on the environment.

The Tate St. Ives

Venturing to St. Ives on a primary school trip to the lovely coastal town, which sits on the northern coast of Cornwall, will give pupils the opportunity to visit the acclaimed Tate St. Ives. Overlooking Porthmeor Beach, the large gas works were transformed into the modern art gallery and opened to the public in 1993. This Tate gallery is one of the family of Tate galleries that are housed in regional locations throughout England. The three-story building is home to a variety of works by modern British artists. The Tate also runs the nearby Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden, which is her former studio and now a small museum dedicated to this British sculpture's works.

The National Maritime Museum Cornwall

From a visit to the Tate St. Ives, those on a primary school trip may head down through the hills and green countryside and around hedgerows until reaching the south coast of Cornwall and the town of Falmouth. Here, at the docks, is the National Maritime Museum of Cornwall. In 1992, a collaboration between the National Maritime Museum, Greenwich and the Cornwall Maritime Museum in Falmouth created the current museum. Eleven years later, in 2003, the museum opened its doors as an independent charitable trust that, uniquely, has no governmental support. The museum's collection houses a large variety of boats, art, objects, books and more relating to Cornwall. While in the museum, students can see the collection of objects and art relating to the Falmouth Packet Ships which were used in the area. Also they can have a look at the newest boat to be acquired, the RNSA Dinghy Kiwi, and "the simple but effective" Coastguard Rescue Cart.

The Eden Project

North-east of Falmouth and the National Maritime Museum Cornwall, is one of the most interesting Eco attractions that children can enjoy on a primary school trip to the county. Opened in March of 2001, the Eden Project is an eco attraction that houses the world's largest greenhouse, in the shape of the biomes, which are home to a large variety of plants. The site is located in a large clay pit that was once used as a filming site for the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Inside the biomes, youngsters will see interesting plants from around the world and learn about conservation and even see art and music exhibitions in the extensive facilities.

Angela Bowden works for EST (Equity School Travel), the UK's largest educational travel company, providing primary school trips as well as those for secondary schools and colleges. School trips with EST can encompass a wide range of learning and more in worldwide destinations.

Liming on the Avenue

Trinidad, not Tobago has perhaps never attained a top ten spot as one of the Caribbean's premier tourist destinations. But what no other island can take away or boast about is its unique position as the Caribbean's number one location for hanging out or what Trinis affectionately call liming. The island is peerless in this regard and absolutely nobody equipped with genuine info on the region can deny such an indisputable fact. Trinidad is the Caribbean's leader in partying, hanging out and having a good time.

Liming occurs over the length and breadth of the Calypso isle but is taken to unbelievable heights upon an extended strip of asphalt known as Ariapita Avenue. Commonly dubbed the Avenue, it is the centerpiece of Woodbrook; a still proud middle class now semi-residential district just outside of Port-of-Spain proper and south-west of St. James, a neighborhood widely known as "the city that never sleeps." The Avenue isn't just run-of-the-mill famous it's actually world famous. Gigantic unofficial street parties sandwiched between two popular watering holes (Coco Lounge and Finlandia) dominates the weekend. This area of the street is swamped with numerous limers who many times disperse for their respective homes somewhere between half-past three and near five am in the morning. Pockets of other people from all walks of life could also be seen liming and enjoying various types of music at many of the other swanky bars and grog joints along the strip. Local and foreign celebrities have also been known to pace the avenue on foot or via their expensive machines on wheels seeking various forms of excitement. Musicians, singers, sporting personalities, media personnel, politicians, professionals, business persons and even local authors can be seen traversing the crowded fun artery.

Besides its weekend street parties the avenue is well renowned for its wide array of sumptuous delicacies that patrons, party-goers, limers and passersby can easily obtain on the street itself or in quaintly designed structures. Roadside food vendors offer hungry transients anything from American burgers, fries and fried chicken to Trinidad doubles, (spicy channa balls compressed between two pieces of golden fried dough), meaty souse, corn soups and Arabian gyros (Doner Kebab). The last meal which comprises vegetables, chicken, lamb, goat or beef gently wrapped in pita bread has recently shed its veneer as a queer foreign novelty and has since become a sought after specialty; inspiring winding queues of customers eagerly anticipating a small bite of the Middle East. But if it's one place in Trinidad where restaurants outnumber road vendors its Ariapita Avenue, Woodbrook. Some of the best chomp joints are located along this popular route and welcomes food connoisseurs preferring fancy d?cor, comfortable furniture, glass panes and air conditioning above tropical breeze, pavements, walls, park benches and unwelcomed automobile fumes. Chinese restaurants are a virtual norm on the island but these establishments are surprisingly sparse on the avenue considering they're ubiquitous in Trinidad's other urban and suburban areas. Most prominent is Me Asia Chinese restaurant perched opposite the famed Adam Smith square; an important judging point during Carnival time. Common-place food spots serving grilled and fried meats along with pizzas, burgers and soda would naturally be expected on the popular strip. But for genuine international exoticism regarding indoor munching, Ariapita Avenue stands shoulders above all other boulevards, streets and districts. The busy enclave is endowed with food havens dishing out well prepared entrees from Portugal, Spain, Italy, Japan, Mexico and Jamaica etc, etc. Mouth-watering buffet delights along with tropical and exotic fruit juices from Trinidad are not to be left out since travelers from the earth's four corners arrive in search of the island's peculiar comestibles.

Angelo's is an automatic choice for gourmands toting Italian appetites. Authentic Spanish, Mexican, Portuguese and Caribbean dishes can be found at El Pecos, M?lange and Tapas. French cuisine is served at the Parisianesque a' La Bastille while Irie Bites Jerk pacifies Jamaican style meat lovers. Jerk like gyros has also relinquished its secluded coat of obscurity and donned the elegant cloak of popularity. Both More Vino, a spectacular wine bar stocked with vintages from across the globe and LeVeLs, a fine dining lounge are equipped with sushi bars. Seafood as a specialty is available at the elegantly charming Chateau de Poisson. Diners with Trini, Creole or Caribbean palates can visit Sweet Lime restaurant, Mangoes, Veni Mange and the avenue's newest kid Relish.

Liming on the avenue, especially at nights is a must whether one is an itinerant citizen of Trinidad or an enthusiastic visitor from a foreign country. A heady mixture of nightspots; gaming rooms; members clubs; food vendors; food queues; excitement on almost every corner; exquisite restaurants; infectious music; a continuously festive atmosphere; affable human beings of all shades, persuasions and tongues constantly moving to and fro; a manicured park/square; and expensive automobiles driven by fun craving transients have kept Ariapita Avenue ahead of all the rest when it comes to a good time in Trinidad. Though it's pressed on almost every side by other liming hotspots such as western main road St. James, Cipriani Boulevard and Tragerete road; Ariapita Avenue continues its stranglehold on the undisputed venue for liming title. None of the others can be first but a host of them can be next or below the world famous Ariapita Avenue in Woodbrook.

Learning the History of Lisbon

A university trip to the capital city of Portugal will take you into the heart of the vibrant and historical city of Lisbon. Situated on the Tagus River as it runs into the Atlantic Ocean, Lisbon is an ancient city built on seven hills. The city predates other modern cities such as London, Paris and even the seven-hilled Rome, and has a history that goes back to the Neolithic Period. It is a wonderful destination for a university trip for students interested in art and history.

Throughout history Lisbon prospered and today it is the ninth most populated urban area in the European Union. It is a hub for arts, culture, business, finance, education and tourism and you can spend weeks or months exploring its rich heritage. But, if you only have a few days on the itinerary of your university trip to soak in the history of the city, be sure to visit Bel?m Tower and the nearby, impressive Jer?nimos Monastery.

Bel?m Tower

Also known as the Tower of St. Vincent, Bel?m Tower is a fortified tower in the city of Lisbon. Your university trip to the city will take you to the small island in the Tagus River, where this tower was built in the early 16th century. The tower was built out of Lioz Limestone in the Portuguese Manueline style. It was made to serve both defensive purposes and as a ceremonial gateway into the city. It is made up of a bastion and a 30-metre tower that is comprised of four floors. As you enter the tower, you will see that the ground floor is slightly inclined towards the outside and the ceiling is supported with masonry arches. When you head up to the first floor, the Governer's Hall, you will find an octagonal space with small corridors leading off to bartizans and a set of stairs that leads up to the next floor. Here, on the second floor, you will find King's Hall, with doors that open onto the Loggia with views overlooking the river. The top floor is a chapel with vaulted ribbed ceilings and excellent views. Bel?m Tower was made a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983 along with the Jer?nimos Monastery.

Jer?nimos Monastery

Once you leave the Bel?m Tower, head over to the nearby Jer?nimos Monastery, which was also inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in conjunction with Bel?m Tower, in 1983. The Jer?nimos Monastery was originally the home of the Hieronymites religious order and was built in 1459. It is a prime example of the Portuguese Manueline, or Portuguese late-Gothic style, with its ornate exterior and intricately designed portals. The monastery has several portals, or entrances, which were designed by well-known architects of their days and some stretch as tall as 32 metres high and 12 metres wide. Inside, the church is designed in a three-aisle fashion with aisles and knaves that are the same height. Outside there is a large square with several cloisters. In one of these arcades lies the Portuguese poet, Fernando Pessoa.

Apartment Rentals Are Located in Every Area

Apartment rentals are places that you can lease for a period of time. When you choose one to rent, you will usually have to sign a one-year lease on the property. You will have to pay for the first month of rent and you will have to pay a security deposit. The amount that you will have to pay will depend on the unit you rent. Most landlords will not let a person rent a unit for less than a year. Every time a new tenant moves in, it requires work for the landlord and it also often results in a loss of money. Landlords like long-term tenants for these purposes. If you fail to pay your rent, your landlord might evict you so it is important to pay your rent each month when it is due.

You can find apartment rentals all over the place. If you are moving to a unit in the same town, it may be easier to find a unit to lease. If you are moving across the country or even to a different town, it may be harder. You will have to do a lot of research on the units before you make a trip there. This is a very important part of choosing a unit. You should thoroughly research the available options in the area in which you are moving to. You should schedule appointments to see several of them and make sure that you schedule them in a row so that you can make the most of your trip there. When you find the one that you want, you will have to fill out an application. You might also be required to pay an application fee at that time. The landlord will most likely run your credit history to determine if you have good credit. Landlords may avoid renting units to people with bad credit. A landlord does not want to get stuck with a bad tenant and this is one way to avoid it.

If you are approved for the unit, the landlord will let you know when it is available. As soon as you pay the required payments, you will be given the keys to the unit and it is yours to live in. It is always very important to keep a copy of your lease handy. Your lease will tell you important information about your rights and your obligations. All tenants are required to sign a lease before moving in. Keep in mind that if you break your lease in any way, your landlord has the right to evict you from the property. To do this, your landlord will take you to court and the judge will decide on the matter. Moving into apartment rentals is an exciting time, especially if you are upgrading to a nicer apartment. Make sure you choose one that you will like living in and that is located in a good neighborhood. You may also want to make sure that it is situated in an area where there are things to do.

Top Historic Treasures To See On A School Trip To Florence

Florence has a rich and dramatic history, making it an exciting school trip destination. Established as a Roman settlement in 80 BCE, it became a trade hub in the middle ages. It was considered one of the world's most politically and culturally influential cities between the 14th and 16th centuries and is famous as the birthplace of the Renaissance. For educators looking for a physical starting point for discussing any of its key eras, here are some of the city's most revealing historical gems.

Medieval Florence: Santi Apostoli

One of the city's oldest surviving buildings from the early Medieval period that can still be seen on a school trip, the Santi Apostoli (or Church of the Holy Apostles) opens several fascinating windows on Florentine history. Dating from the turn of the 11th century, its simple structure and fa?ade are a good example of the style of the time. The region had been long besieged by tribes including the Goths and Lombards, and the Christian church had to focus its energies on protecting its knowledge and learning. Parts of the building, however, are even older, with some of its columns in fact belonging to the ancient Roman baths that existed on the same site beforehand. Thus the church is a wonderful illustration of a city in flux, moving from the world of the ancients towards the early modern world.

Renaissance Florence: San Lorenzo

For school trip groups seeking to investigate the Renaissance era, the entire city of Florence can be considered a historic artefact in itself, as much of the city's existing art and architecture was built or enhanced by wealthy patrons during that time. But for one of the most striking demonstrations of the power and wealth wielded by the Medici, the ruling family under which Florence flourished so, San Lorenzo is hard to beat. It was the family's parish church, and they spared no expense in decorating it. A design by renowned architect Brunelleschi, a library, sandstone stairs, marble tombs by Michelangelo, and bronze pulpits by Donatello are just some of the marks of the Medicis' influence and the rich creativity of Renaissance Florence.

Republican Florence: Palazzo Vecchio

The short-lived Florentine Republic that interrupted Medici rule is an interesting if brief period, from 1494 to 1530, during which those who had seized power taught the people that God was their only true ruler. Although it pre-dates the period, and was subsequently redecorated, the Palazzo Vecchio, or town hall, contains several reminders of this time that can still be seen on a school trip today. On the first floor, the Salone dei Cinquecento was a meeting place for the Republic's leaders, while Vasari's frescoes illustrate the Siege of Florence in 1529. A Republican frieze reads: "Christ is King", referring to the belief that no living ruler can have absolute power.

Condo Rentals - 3 Advantages Over Hotels

Whether you're headed for the fine sands of the beach or the fun-filled magic of a week at the amusement park, family vacations are a time-honored way to get away from the hustle and bustle of life and remember that you have to save time for fun every now and then. Of course, vacations aren't just about what you choose to do on your week away from work, but where you choose to stay. Great accommodations can make a big difference in how much fun you have. If you are stuck in the hotel rut, here are three reasons that you may want to look into condo rentals for your next family trip:

- More Space

If you're used to vacationing in hotels, you are probably familiar with the cramped spaces they provide. For a person travelling alone or with only one other person, the average hotel room isn't that bad. You have a bed, a desk, and a shower. What more do you really need? For a family, however, that hotel room is like packing everyone into one bedroom for a week. Even a couple of days in those kind of cramped quarters can be difficult to stand. Condo rentals open up the space and give you a sort of home away from home with such luxuries as multiple bedrooms, a full kitchen and a couple of bathrooms. You will enjoy your attractions considerably more if you aren't in a bad mood from your night at the hotel.

- Additional Privacy

Some vacationers don't mind having a maid service come in every day, rifle through their stuff, make the beds, and do everything else they do. In fact, many people like it; however, some don't. If you fall into this category, condo rentals may be just what the doctor ordered. In most cases, you'll be left entirely alone for the duration of your stay. While your bed may not be turned down while you're off at the beach, you won't have to think about what you need to lock away for the day, either.

- Cost Savings

When it comes to the base price of condo rentals versus a typical hotel room, the hotel room is (probably) going to win out on the cost. But if you compare square foot to square foot, the condominium is usually going to blow the hotel out of the water. A hotel suite is massively expensive and out of the budget of the average family. Even base price to base price, however, condominiums provide another big way to save: food costs. Eating out for every meal can be fun, but it can also add extensively to your bottom line. If you have a full kitchen in which to cook, you can save a lot of money by the end of a week's vacation, even if you hit a restaurant a couple of times.
